It's not just that he makes that ridiculous statement, it's what he says to the gentleman who asks the question.
How much more do we have to take for everyone to realize that the Progressive politicians all must go? We cannot allow these malignant tumors to remain in our body politic any longer.
It is hard to respond to the idiotic comments made by this 37 year veteran Congressman.

Can you believe this (expletive) politician has the nerve to not only speak to his constituents in this manner but he has no (expletive) idea what he is talking about?

The most ironic comment of the day
Ann Coulter is one of the most cutting edge Conservative columnists in the nation, each week offering up an excellent expose on the hypocrisy of the day of the left and all of their various support groups.
This weeks column is no different.

here is the most ironic line in the column and it really makes you think:
....."Obama senior adviser David Axelrod said Greene was not a "legitimate" candidate and called his victory "a mysterious deal." (Yes, how could a young African-American man with strange origins, suspicious funding, shady associations, no experience, no qualifications, and no demonstrable work history come out of nowhere and win an election?)....."Now who does this remind you of? You can't tell me that the first thing you don't think of is Barack Obama!

A little over a year after Muslims screamed 'baby killers' and 'rapists' at soldiers parading through Luton after a tour of duty in Iraq (an episode which gave birth to the EDL), devout Muslims came out again to spew their vile invective, agitate for jihad and show their treasonous contempt for the West. This time the EDL was there to stand for their countrymen, their nation, their soldiers.
Muslim protesters brand war heroes ‘murderers’ as homecoming parade turns violent (Casuals United)
It is interesting how the media portrays the Islamic jihadists on the same moral playing field as the patriots standing up for their nation. It is a decayed effete elite that is aiding and abetting advancing jihad. One cannot help but be reminded of the goosestepping nazis before WWII when you see the vile treason of the Muslims at their jackbooted, keffiyeh-clad protests.
The keffiyeh, the swastika -- same thing. The hate speech, the thuggery, same thing. Here are pictures and craven coverage from the Daily Mail:
Screaming hate and brandishing vile placards, Muslim extremists and far-Right groups clashed yesterday in ugly scenes that marred a parade by soldiers. Around 40 members of a group called Muslims Against the Crusades (MAC) arrived with inflammatory banners featuring slogans such as 'Butchers return' and 'What are you dying for? £18k'. They were soon confronted by 100 people, some wearing English Defence League T-shirts, who shouted 'scum' and 'Muslim bombers off our streets'.

The Muslim protesters shouted 'murderers' as troops from the Royal Anglian Regiment paraded through Barking, Essex.
Police, who had received intelligence warning of trouble at the march in Barking, Essex, separated the groups behind barriers on opposite sides of the road.
But violence flared after 200 soldiers from 1st Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment - who lost five men in a recent tour of Afghanistan and had been granted freedom of the borough - marched past thousands of well-wishers.

From New Jersey’s Daily Record:
The Obama Administration handed out more than $400 million in awards to federal employees last year, up by more than $80 million from the prior year, according to new government data.
The biggest winners were air traffic controllers and top managers in Washington, a review of fiscal year 2009 salary reports from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management showed.
OPM’s data, obtained by the Asbury Park Press through a freedom of information request, account for 1.3 million employees, or about 65 percent of the federal civilian work force.

War for Green Jobs?
Has part of the reason Obama has failed to live up to his promise to end the war in Afghanistan because of this?
Wow a trillion dollars worth is quite an incentive, so we have been fighting to support the special interest who are trying to promote a phony "green jobs" agenda? Does this administration want to replace the Afghan government to ensure we will have first shot at mining rights and then to force Afghanistan to sign a "Carbon Tax" treaty?
We need a Congressional hearing into this right away, it would be amazing if it were true because this administration and this Congress has been so free of corruption.

A bleak Ghazni Province seems to offer little, but a Pentagon study says it may have among the world’s largest deposits of lithium.
WASHINGTON — The United States has discovered nearly $1 trillion in untapped mineral deposits in Afghanistan, far beyond any previously known reserves and enough to fundamentally alter the Afghan economy and perhaps the Afghan war itself, according to senior American government officials.

Another 50 billion Dollar Union bailout
A 50 Billion dollar local and state union employees bailout proposal is going well beyond the point of no return and far beyond the scope of reason.
I can't even imagine how any Congressman could possibly think this is going to fly.
Has anyone in the administration ever heard of job creation, or spending cuts to improve the position any local, state, or the federal government to be able to handle their responsibilities?
How about tax cuts so people can have more of their money to spend and "kick start" the economy.
Now to me here is the biggest irony:
If these employees are laid off (that is a bad thing) they will still be being paid unemployment benefits which are tax dollars, but they will be making less and actually be still contributing the deficits anyway. (At least it would be at a lower rate).

President Obama urged reluctant lawmakers Saturday to quickly approve nearly $50 billion in emergency aid to state and local governments, saying the money is needed to avoid "massive layoffs of teachers, police and firefighters" and to support the still-fragile economic recovery.
Now to me here is the biggest irony:
If these employees are laid off (that is a bad thing) they will still be being paid unemployment benefits which are tax dollars, but they will be making less and actually be still contributing the deficits anyway. (At least it would be at a lower rate).
Pelosi is at it again
Well now who would have thought that the most ethical Congress in history (wink, wink), would want to eliminate the ethics committee because who is going to help her to drain the swamp?
From the Daily Caller
As far as draining the swamp, I think she realized her and her Democrat lackeys have discovered that they wouldn't have a place to swim if that happened.
From the Daily Caller
Nancy Pelosi endorses defanging of House ethics office -- "There’s hot competition between the Congressional Black Caucus and the official House ethics committee over who has less regard for the Office of Congressional Ethics, also known as the OCE," reports POLITICO. Apparently, everyone in Congress wants to kill the independent committee, because they are tired of people eventually finding out what lying, thieving sacks of malfeasance they all are. "Privately, Democratic and Republican lawmakers, and even some congressional leaders, acknowledge that there’s a strong sentiment to change rules that empower the office to publicize investigations and wreak havoc on lawmakers’ political lives." Because Heaven forbid anyone be able to exercise the same kind of power over an kleptocrat's life that the kleptocrat exercises over his constituents! If you really think about it, who are some of the worst violators in Congress? Democrats of course and how has punishing them going for us??

What no paparazzi to beat up?
I mean he and Oliver Stone, Mike Moore, Jesse ventura can all move there and they are welcome to stay but remember you are not allowed to talk smack against the President.
I wonder what would have happened if Bush would have tried that??
Now the Obama administration is all over this with their attempt at Internet neutrality through the Free Press and the FCC along with the FTC trying to override Congress and the DC federal court system who has ruled against it.Now since he likes this moron so much why can't we send him there permanently? Why does Penn keep coming back here if life is so great there?

Hollywood only supports LIBERAL tragedies
The Hollywood left has always been all about fundraising for disasters so they can asuade their guilt for making millions of dollars and not really contributuing to the common good of society but when it comes to the last two disasters they are mysteriously absent.
They can raise 60 million dollars for Haiti (which is a good cause) but not a single dime for the flood victims in Nashville, Tennessee (USA) nor anything for the people on the gulf coast (USA).
Some of them have been present but only in the form of trying to tell BP how to handle the spill. as if this was just make believe and they can use a camera angle to make it disappear.

COUNTDOWN — DAY 40: Hollywood Ignores Gulf Oil Spill & Nashville Floods by Big Hollywood
If there’s anything Hollywood does well and deserves credit for, it’s raising money for victims of natural disasters. For some reason, though, the flood that Nashville is still digging out from under – the flood that killed eleven people – has been almost completely ignored by Hollywood.
Same with the Gulf Oil Spill.
When you look at Hollywood’s recent history in rallying for this kind of thing, you’re left to ask why? Where are the telethons and public pleas for humanitarian assistance? Is it that the Nashville “rubes” don’t rate? Is it that calling any attention to the ongoing catastrophe in the Gulf can only hurt Their One? What else could it be?
Nashville stars came out for Nashville and good on them, and so did David Spade. But where was/is the big star-studded nationally televised gala?
And in the Gulf, with the exception of Kevin Costner, all we’ve seen thus far from Hollywood are shockingly shameless A-listers covering for Obama and behaving in ways little better than price-gougers as they cravenly exploit this environmental and economic catastrophe to push their own political agendas. Oil Spill: Leftist Hollywood Circles Wagons For Obama; Demand Higher Taxes, Fewer Jobs by John Nolte
This is a little off-topic, but whenever I read something conjured by some A-lister over at the HuffPo, I’m always struck by how dull and humorless the writing is. These are big shots, performers, stahs, and most of them write as though they’re submitting some kind of college entrance exam. Where’s the voice, the personality, the wit…? Yes, we get it, you’re … smart … and … informed … and … serious. But for my sake — for the sake of the guy whose job it is to trudge through your mighty impressiveness on a daily basis, could you you spice it up some — a little hot-cha-cha for you’re favorite right-wing extremist?
And this isn’t an ideological thing. As morally and politically illiterate as many of my writer foes on the left are, at least they’re not boring.

Where was I? Oh, yes, the wagon circling. Other than nudging Obama to be even more socialist when it comes to the kind of regulation and oversight necessary to kill middle-class jobs and tax us all into poverty ensure this tragedy never happens again, not a single one criticizes the President for his mishandling of the spill. But guess who does rank a Babs mention?
Redford’s video above is a pretty fascinating piece of propaganda. Take special note of how he at first laments the job losses caused by the spill but then closes by calling for even more job losses through an end to offshore drilling. It should go without saying that the Obama administration’s voting present throughout the 50-plus days of this disaster never comes up. (more…)
The dynamic duo against the "War on Drugs"
Most people are against drug use becoming legal. The war on drugs has been costly and at times appears fruitless but in my opinion I feel that is because the punsihments have not been severe enough.
Now when George Soros is hooking up with Sing to do away with tis war I have to ask what's in it for George, because we all know he doesn't do anything out of the kindness of his heart.

Sting and Soros Hook Up For A Duet Of Pro-Drug Stupidity
by Kurt Schlichter
Seeing that George Soros and Sting are working together to “end the drug war” puts me in mind of a story an Army buddy who works in the DEA told me about busting in the door of a drug house only to find three occupants – the oldest four years old, having been left in charge while his “parents” went out to score meth. Yeah, drug use is a victimless crime – if you ignore the victims.
Apparently not content to subsidize the whining of the nonentities at Media Matters, Soros is taking a break from his adventures in currency manipulation and general scuzziness to enlist entertainment celebrities like Sting in his newest quest. The Drug Policy Alliance is the result, a group whose members, as its founder puts it, “come from across the drug use spectrum.” Yes, the junkies, stoners, hopheads, dope fiends, pill-poppers, and Lindsay Lohan are unanimous: Drug laws are bad, and it’s probably BusHitler’s fault.
The threshold problem with comments by Sting such as, “The war on drugs represents an extraordinary violation of human rights,” is that Sting presumably not only believes this piffle, but further believes that he can put down his bass and offer meaningful input into the discussion. This assumption of competence is a common delusion among celebrities, and here it has more potential for damage than most mindless celebribabble.
Now, Sting is not alone – no one in that clip says anything worthwhile. One woman, who is bald for no apparent reason, states that “The War on Drugs is a war on people of color,” as if Americans decided they would outlaw crack because they fear that black people might enjoy themselves. Montel Williams shows up to explain that drug laws prevent him from making choices about his own body, but the awful tie and ridiculous earring he chose to wear make a powerful argument against allowing him to make any kind of choices at all...... The time for unions has come and gone
Whether you are a fan or not of the unions, it is still disturbing to find that this was a Father and Son team who worked on the last inspection prior to the accident. With all that has happened and is happening with the unions ans their support for this administration and the connections to corruption that have been surfacing, it has to be taken into consideration.
Father-Son Union Duo Final Deepwater Horizon Offshore Inspectors VIDEO
Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), a former Texas appellate court chief justice, questioned Liz Birnbaum at her final hearing, the day before her firing, um, resignation as director of the Minerals Management Service (MMS).
SEE the video here
Gohmert raises the question of unionization of offshore inspectors at the MMS and the continuation of that policy at an agency rife with corruption.
(The terms "union" and "government" don't exactly gel well together in a results-oriented circumstance where lives are at stake -- along the lines of the major concerns over unionizing the TSA governing airport security.)
“The only unionized branch of MMS is the offshore inspectors,” Gohmert stated at the hearing. “Will the new Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement be unionized?”
Birnbaum didn’t know.
It turns out the check and balance on these union offshore inspectors is that they’re sent out in pairs. And the last pair sent to inspect the Deepwater Horizon platform before the explosion was a father and son team.
REP. LOUIE GOHMERT (R-TEXAS): When the offshore inspectors go out and inspect these rigs you said they don’t actually test, they just observe. But don’t they require testing to be done in their presence?
FORMER MMS DIRECTOR LIZ BIRNBAUM: There is some testing that is done in the presence of MMS inspectors, but we require testing on a regular basis, on a weekly basis, on a daily basis…
GOHMERT: They have the power to require testing be done in their presence?
BIRNBAUM: Yes they do.
GOHMERT: Is there some kind of system among the offshore inspectors that allows them to review what other offshore inspectors have done just to make sure that someone hasn’t missed something? To use the term you were using, to make sure someone with fresh eyes has seen what other offshore inspectors have done to make sure that we’re doing the right things?
BIRNBAUM: The first thing is in general MMS inspectors go out in teams of two, not alone, so that we do have more than one set of eyes looking at things. Beyond that we rotate inspectors, it’s not always the same inspectors at the same rig or the same platform and they always have access to the previous inspectors’ reports as well.
GOHMERT: So the duplicity of having two offshore inspectors at the same time go out and inspect a rig helps provide that check and balance.
BIRNBAUM: It’s one of the things that does, yes.
GOHMERT: Did you think it was a good idea that what has now been revealed from the Coast Guard MMS joint investigation that the last two inspectors of Deepwater Horizon were a father and son pair? I mean I know they were union members but did you think that was a good idea that a father and son were working and checking each other’s back?
BIRNBAUM: Again, I cannot speak to anything with respect to the investigation of the Deepwater Horizon incident.
GOHMERT: Let’s talk hypothetically. Hypothetically would you think it’s a good idea to have a father and son be the ones that are double checking and being the fresh eyes on the other inspector?
BIRNBAUM: I would say it gives rise to questions.
Ya think?
Our friends at the local Louisiana news outlet The Hayride have done stellar coverage of the disaster locally.
They raise the possibility that this very round of questioning with Gohmert may be the reason Birnbaum was fired resigned.
The latest photos of oil coming onshore and its impact to Louisiana are available at the Baton Rouge Advocate.
